S.O.A.R.

When it comes to programs aimed at helping students adjust to college life, the Student Orientation And Registration (S.O.A.R.) is chief among them. Through Bulldog Days and the First Year Experience courses (ORI 101/102), new students are provided with opportunities to explore career options and to become familiar with the imperatives for their chosenmajors, as well as the general policies of the University.

Students are assisted by professional advisors who help them with course selections and scheduling, as well as monitor and maintain student records and prepare them for transfer to the four degree-granting colleges.
